Selling · UK & Europe to the world

Sell specialist machinery into the right overseas market.

If a good machine is difficult to sell in the UK or its current market, the problem may be the market rather than the machine. Euro Plant Finder can research where overseas demand may be stronger and help you reach the appropriate dealer or end user.

The client-side rule

When we act for a seller, we work for the seller.

Most Euro Plant Finder work is buyer representation. This is the one clearly defined exception. If a machinery owner appoints us to find an overseas market and buyer, we act solely for that seller. Your interests become our priority in that transaction. We do not represent the buyer as well, and we never act for both sides of the same deal.

The problem we solve

The right machine may simply be in the wrong market.

Specialist or unusual machinery can be hard to sell domestically even when it is good equipment. Used supply, demand, dealer appetite and achievable values vary between countries. Our job is to identify where the strongest realistic market may be — not simply place the same advert in more places.

What we do

Find the market, then find the buyer.

1

Understand the machine, condition, specification and seller's objective.

2

Research likely overseas markets and realistic values.

3

Approach relevant specialist dealers where a trade sale makes sense.

4

Where appropriate, seek direct end users for a potentially stronger seller return.

5

Help coordinate the transaction and the appropriate specialist logistics.

Dealer or end user?

We can explore both routes.

A dealer may offer a faster and simpler transaction but needs a resale margin. A direct end user may support a stronger price, particularly where used supply is limited, but can take longer and require more qualification. We assess the machine and market rather than assuming one route is always best.

What we do not promise

Realistic market finding — not sales guarantees.

We do not promise the highest price, claim to have buyers waiting worldwide or guarantee that any machine will sell. Achievable value depends on condition, specification, age, hours, transport, currency, comparable used supply and real demand in the destination market.

Suitable machinery

Best suited to machines where international market differences may matter.

Examples can include specialist construction plant, agricultural machinery, forestry and firewood equipment, unusual attachments and other niche or slow-moving machinery. We assess each machine individually.

Could the right buyer be overseas?

Tell us about your machine.

Send us the machine details, location, asking price or target value, and any photos or listing link. We can discuss whether an international market search is worth pursuing.

Send the details — no obligation.

The more you can tell us, the faster we can judge whether an overseas market is worth pursuing. We aim to respond within one working day.
