How does the service work?

You tell us what you need — or send us a machine you have already found. We search and shortlist, investigate the serious candidates, verify the seller, arrange physical inspection if required, negotiate on your side and coordinate the appropriate specialists through the onward process.

What does it cost?

We charge a fixed sourcing fee agreed with you in advance. No purchase, no sourcing fee. Inspection, travel and third-party costs are separate where applicable and are agreed before they are incurred.

Do I pay if you don't find or complete a deal?

If no machine purchase takes place through the sourcing service, you do not pay the sourcing fee. Separately authorised inspection, travel or other costs remain payable once incurred.

Can you just inspect a machine I've already found?

Yes. Standalone inspection is available as a separate service. The scope, travel and cost are agreed before the visit. Inspection may be carried out by Rob where practical or by an appropriate specialist closer to the machine.

Where do you source machinery from?

Dealers, auctions, private sellers and other legitimate machinery sources across the UK and Europe. We have established seller relationships, but those sellers do not pay us. EPF holds no stock and receives no seller commission.

Do you handle shipping and biosecurity?

We can coordinate the appropriate specialists involved in moving the machine from seller to buyer. The exact chain depends on the destination and may involve road transport, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, biosecurity specialists and local delivery companies. Country-specific requirements are confirmed for the individual route.

Can you source several machines at once?

Yes. We can source from multiple sellers and coordinate consolidation or combined shipping where practical. Whether containerisation or another transport method makes sense depends on the machines and route.

Which countries do you serve?

We work with buyers in New Zealand, Australia, United States, Canada, Finland, Sweden, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, UAE and Saudi Arabia. Wherever you are, get in touch.

Can you help if I have already found a machine?

Yes. Send us the machine and seller details. We can help investigate the opportunity, verify who you are dealing with, negotiate on your side and coordinate the purchase and onward process.

Who do I pay for the machine?

The seller invoices you directly and you pay the seller directly. Euro Plant Finder does not take possession of your machine or your money at any time during the transaction.

Do you add margin to shipping or customs?

We do not add hidden mark-ups to third-party costs. Where practical, you pay those providers directly. External costs are separate from EPF's sourcing fee.

When is the sourcing fee payable?

The payment timing is confirmed with you in the quote and transaction terms.

Do I need the exact make/model?

No. If you know exactly what you want, tell us. If you only know the machine type, job, budget and important specification, that is enough to start.

Can you help if I am not buying immediately?

Yes. Tell us roughly what you expect to need and when. That helps us understand the requirement and follow up at the right time.

Can you help at auction?

Yes, subject to the arrangements of the individual auction. Account, deposit and bidding arrangements are confirmed on a case-by-case basis. EPF can help assess the lot — including physical inspection where appropriate, or photos and video where it isn't — and can represent you and bid on your behalf.

What if there is a problem after I buy?

If a problem appears, we stay involved and pursue it with the seller on your behalf, doing everything within our power to represent your best interests.
